Fox RX+Bite Alarms

The Fox RX + 3 Rod Presentation Set brings the Fox quality into an improved version of the NTX-R. Added features on the RX + 3 include manually selectable day and night modes, with the ability to manually change the brightness of the twin colour LEDs, not just for day or night fishing, but also within day or night modes, to accommodate the conditions you’re fishing in, whether that’s bright summer sun on a golden expanse of exposed beach, or cooler autumn days in the shade of leafy riverbank willows. This makes it easy for you to see the LED flash, and respond quickly. Low battery warning eliminates the risk that your session will be spoiled by running out of juice – as long as you’ve remembered to pack some spare batteries in your kit bag, simply change them over, and you can last several hours more. The RX + is a low drain bite alarm, so you don’t need to worry about spending a fortune on batteries over the life of your alarm. With an increased clearance around the roller wheel, and improved drainage, you shouldn’t have too many problems with cold conditions causing the roller wheel to seize up, leading to far more enjoyment on winter nights fishing sessions. The RX + has sensitivity control, which works to significantly reduce, and even eliminate, false triggering from wind or water movement. In all sensitivity settings except maximum, continuous movement in the same direction, over a specified distance, is required to trigger the alarm. Any change in direction will reset the counter to zero. If you’re fishing overnight, this saves you being woken up for a strong current twitching your line!
