The triple red LEDs offer subtle illumination which is perfectly good enough for close up work but which when turned off does not impair night vision. Two brightness settings on the large white LED provide focused light for close up work in the bivvy such as rig tying, reading, cooking etc. or wider, brighter illumination for landing fish.
Pressing the button goes through the different lighting modes:
1 press, 3 red LED's (6 lumens)
2 presses, muted, focused white LED (10 lumens)
3 presses, brighter, wider white LED (80 lumens)
After approximately 10 seconds on any mode, a single press of the button will turn the torch off. ESP Bank Lamp Headtorch
